Job Description

Finishing Lead: job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

Train, direct and coordinate the activities of hourly manufacturing in the finishing department in order to meet customer requirements of quality and on time deliveries. Coordinate production activities with other departments. Ensure safe work environment and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Give direction to staff for optimum performance, providing technical and organizational leadership as it relates to daily production requirements. Assess readiness of job tickets, construction proofs, and other job instructions. Effectively communicate with other functional areas and department leaders. Work with project coordinators and sales representatives and respond to their requests in a prompt and professional manner as needed. Assist with production to meet customer needs as required.


Education and Experience:

HS diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of supervisory or related experience preferred but not limited to. Experience in finishing preferred. Other complex manufacturing disciplines will be considered. Basic computer skills Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good follow-up skills and excellent communication and organizational skills.
